Daniel is a professional violinist based in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia. He is regularly contracted to perform with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Opera Australia Orchestra - resident orchestra at the Sydney Opera House.
His musical studies took him from his hometown of Geelong, to study with some of Australia's top pedagogues including Spiros Rantos (UQ), Goetz Richter, Wanda Wilkommerska, Alex Todicescu (USYD) Edwin Paling and Jun-Yi Ma (UTAS) . He has been 2009 he was awarded a scholarship to study in London with David Takeno (Guildhall School of Music and Drama) and Gyorgy Pauk (Royal Academy of Music)
After travelling through the US, Canada and Singapore Daniel returned to Australia in 2013 where he has been in demand as a violinist and orchestral fixer. His other great passions are performing chamber music in unconventional venues and curating cultural events through his company Rue Arts.
