Founded in 2016, The Australian Session Orchestra has quickly become a trusted name in the world of orchestral contractors. Owned and operated by violinist Daniel Lopez and cellist Eleanor Streatfeild, the session orchestra regularly assembles full symphony orchestras in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston and Perth.

Highlights include performing with international classical soloist Yundi Li, providing both classical and jazz backing bands for the Noosa Alive Festival, performing at the 2021 NRL Grand Final, providing musicians for Megan Washington's music video "Batflowers" during covid lockdowns, performing with Tom Burlinson across his national tours, supporting Mirusia Louwerse's national tour, a 4 city orchestral tour of Classic Country Gold featuring Darren Coggan, Amber Joy Poulton and Lizzie Moore, and a current tour of Led Zeppelin's music with the Zep Boys.
