The Australian Session Orchestra was founded in 2017, and in a relatively short space of time has forged an excellent reputation as one of Australia's most versatile and trusted commercial orchestras.

 

Our work includes booking orchestras for music festivals, advertising work, and touring projects with international artists such as Laufey, Bill Bailey, Mirusia Louwerse, and Yundi Li, providing orchestral backing for both album recordings and live performances in major venues across Australia.

Founded by two of Australia's most in-demand session musicians Daniel Lopez & Eleanor Streatfeild, we bring over 20 years of orchestral, commercial and studio experience to the table. We are immensely proud of the skill and versatility of our musicians, and we also have an impressive list of composers and orchestrators who can bring a creative idea to life both on stage or in the studio. ​​​
